Rose McGowan, who is at the centre of the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal, revealed that Twitter has temporarily suspended her account, post calling out Ben Affleck over his level of knowledge about studio mogul.

The 44-year-old actress took to her Instagram and Facebook accounts to relay the news of her suspension.

She wrote, "TWITTER HAS SUSPENDED ME. THERE ARE POWERFUL FORCES AT WORK. BE MY VOICE. #ROSEARMY."

She added a screenshot of a message from Twitter that read, she had violated their terms of service and she would be locked out for 12 hours.

Earlier on Wednesday, she had tweeted, "F*** off" to Affleck and accused him of lying about his level of knowledge about Weinstein's misdeeds.

Today, Affleck apologised to Hilarie Burton for groping her during an appearance on MTV's 'Total Request Live' back in 2003. (ANI)
