Two Indian soldiers were injured on Thursday in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Devender Anand said: "The soldiers were injured in Balakote sector in unprovoked Pakistani firing.

"The soldiers were shifted to hospital for treatment. Our troops retaliated strongly."
