Islamabad | November 23, 2009 3:22:48 PM IST

Pakistan People's Party's Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab has praised former President Pervez Musharraf for eliminating the environment of confrontational politics from the country by introducing National Reconciliation Ordinance.

She displayed her soft corner for Musharraf while speaking with reporters who asked her whether the credit for eliminating the politics of enmity should be given to Musharraf.

Wahab promptly said: "Yes, he also has this credit."

The News quoted her as saying that NRO was promulgated after efforts of people who had vision of future. (ANI)
