Five MoUs signed between China and Malaysia

Chinese President Hu Jintao and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak today witnessed signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries in Putrajaya.

The first MoU was between Malaysian Central Bank, Bank Negara and China Banking Regulatory Commission on banking supervision and cooperation.

The other four covered cooperation in the field of higher education, sewerage services and two pacts on loan and credit.

Mr Jintao is on a two-day visit to Malaysia on his way to Singapore for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.
