2 hospitalized after PlayStation dispute Kent, Wash. | June 29, 2008 12:01:13 AM IST
Two Washington residents were hospitalized for gunshot wounds after a robbery and dispute about a PlayStation game console, police said. Investigators say they believe the shooting victims knew the person who shot them and two other males present when the assault took place, The Seattle Times reported Saturday. The victims, ages 17 and 18, were at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center in critical condition Friday, the Times said. Officials said one victim was found at a Kent, Wash., apartment and the second a number of blocks away, apparently attempting to make it home after being hit by a bullet. Kent Police Chief Steve Strachan said the three suspects ran away after the gunfire. He added that the shooting came after an earlier dispute during which the gunman and two other males argued with the victims and another male about a PlayStation. The victims were at the apartment when the three males came back and began shooting while trying to rob them, Strachan said. (UPI)
