Premier League title is in Manchester United's hands: Neville
London | February 09, 2010 3:10:42 PM IST

Manchester United defender Gary Neville claims the Premier League title is back in their hands following Chelsea's slip-up against Hull City on Saturday.

Neville also sees their clash against Chelsea at Old Trafford on April 3 as their chance to land a decisive blow in the title race.

"It's in our hands and it hasn't been that way for quite a while with us being four points behind. Now we have to play Chelsea again, the title is in our hands and that's where we like it to be," The Mirror quoted Neville, as saying.

"We'd like to get in front of them before that game. In the meantime, we just have to keep winning our own games," he added.

The 34-year-old was also quick to add that the players at Old Trafford are experienced enough to not make an elementary mistake by getting carried away by United's red-hot form.

"We played really well at Arsenal, but no-one came into the training ground afterwards saying we are going to win the league. At the moment, everyone is saying we're on top of the world and have a great chance of success. But our players and manager have been around the block, so we never get too down or too high,' Neville said.

"Even when we lose a game it doesn't take us away from our aims for the end of the season. It does give us confidence when we get a good win, but on the other hand we don't lose confidence when we have a defeat," he added. (ANI)
