Miandad to help Pakistan cricket team Karachi | November 21, 2008 3:35:12 PM IST
Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has requested legendary batsman Javed Miandad, who has become the director-general of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), to assist the national team. Malik met Miandad, also a former Pakistan captain and considered among the leading batsmen of all time, in Islamabad. "I've requested Javed bhai for his help and guidance," Malik told reporters. Miandad said he would be pleased to help the national players in any way he can. "I will give the Pakistan players advice and tips so that they can overcome their flaws," said Miandad.
