Windies batsman fails drug test London | September 19, 2008 12:46:42 PM IST
West Indies batsman Xavier Marshall has been dumped from the megabucks Stanford Twenty20 match after failing a drugs test. Tonito Willett, another member of the Stanford SuperStars, was also axed for a doping offence. It means their hopes of winning the 565,000-pound-a-man prize money in Antigua have gone up in a puff of smoke. According to The Sun, the pair were tested during a Windies training camp. It is believed the drugs were recreational. West Indies Board chief executive Donald Peters said: "We have a zero tolerance on drugs." (ANI)
