Former Indian cricketer Mohinder Amarnath was Monday appointed consultant of the Bengal cricket team for the 2008-09 season. Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Jagmohan Dalmiya told reporters that Amarnath's rich experience in top-level cricket would benefit Bengal players, who could pick up various positive aspects from him. Dalmiya said the CAB has also formed a six-member committee with regard to the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).ssp/ag (85 Words)18082243NNNN (IANS)
