Out of favour Hoggard now eyeing IPL option London | August 13, 2008 3:43:07 PM IST
Out of favour England fast bowler Mathew Hoggard believes he may be forced to look for a contract in the mega-bucks Indian Premier League. The swing bowler, 31, who has not featured for England since being sensationally axed along with Steve Harmison during last winter's tour to New Zealand, was quoted by The Sun as saying: "I can see myself jumping at an offer from the IPL, if it came across. "Obviously my main aim is to take Test wickets for England but that's not to be. If I can't play Test cricket for England, then I've got to look at other revenue," he added. (ANI)
