Patna students protest against working of private coaching institutes
Patna | February 09, 2010 5:40:39 PM IST

Over hundreds of students took to the streets here on Tuesday allegedly upset with the working of private coaching institutes.

The students, who were mainly students of Class 12, claimed that despite charging high fees, the coaching institutes are unable to complete the course on time.

The angry students pelted stones and ransacked the offices of the coaching institutes. They demanded that all the coaching institutes be shutdown as they are making money in the name of teaching.

The city police had to bring the situation under control and extra policemen have been deployed in the area at present to avoid any untoward incident. (ANI)
