Hockey India forms committee to look into graded payments

Acceeding to the Indian team's demand of graded payments for players, Hockey India has formed a committee comprising former players to look into the issue. According to a Hockey India release, former Olympian Jagbir Singh will be the convener of the committee which also includes Ajit Pal Singh, MP Ganesh, Zafar Iqbal and Dhanraj Pillai.

The captains and coaches of both the national men's and women's teams shall also be members of the committee.

Hockey India president Vidya Stokes and Secretary General Narinder Batra will be the special invitees.
