India 'Slumdog...' wins European Film People's Choice award
Almost a year after sweeping the Oscars, Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' has won the People's Choice award for Best European Film at the 22nd European Film Awards. The awards were given on December 12 in Bochum, Germany. The film also shared the 'Carlo Di Palma' European Cinematographer Award with 'AntiChrist'. The top honours went to Michael Haneke's 'White Ribbon', which was adjudged the Best European Film.
