APCC Gen.Secy urged the AICC Prez expedite issue on Telangana

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee today urged the All India Congress Committee (AICC) President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to expedite the issue of separate Telangana immediately.

In a letter the General Secretary of the PCC G Niranjan along with four other secretaries urged Ms Gandhi, ''We the sons of Telangana soil earnestly request you to expedite the issue of statehood immediately since it is pending for more than five decades''.

He said ''now the student community's movement is growing day-by-day. Keeping in view the said facts, we request you to please settle the issue immediately to end untoward incidents and casualities and oblige'', it said.
