India Hrithik, Priyanka share to honours at 4th Apsara awards
Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra shared the top honours at the 4th Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards for year 2008 held here last night. Hrithik won the best actor award for bringing alive the great Mughal emperor Akbar on the silver screen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's ''Jodha Akbar'', while Priyanka bagged the best actress award for Madhur Bhandakar's ''Fashion''. Aamir Khan's directorial debut ''Taare Zameen Par'' won the maximum number of nine awards, including best film and best director. While music maestro A R Rahman won the best music award for Jodha Akbar, the best lyrics award went to Prasoon Joshi ''Maa'' song in ''Taare Zameen Par''. The best male debut award was bagged by Imran Khan for ''Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'' and ''Mudha Godse'' won the best female debut for ''Fashion''.
