NDA govt report card a bundle of lies: LJP
Patna | Wednesday, Nov 25 2009 IST

The LJP today described as ''bundle of lies'' the report card released by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the performance of the NDA government.

Party national secretary Satyanand Sharma told mediapersons here that Mr Kumar was deliberately citing ''wrong'' facts and figures to cover the failure of his government in all the spheres, including law and order situation. Despite the tall claims of the NDA government in this regard, miscreants were striking at their will, letting the common man live under the shadow of fears, according to Mr Sharma.

''The total number of registered criminal cases during the past four years is 3.72 lakh. This is an alarming situation for any state. Despite this, the Chief Minister is claiming that people are safe during his regime,'' Mr Sharma added.

The LJP leader lambasted the Nitish Kumar government for its alleged failure in executing various welfare schemes, including the mid-day meal scheme for school children. Even the CAG had detected gross irregularities committed in the execution of mid-day meal schemes during the present dispensation.
