Young diplomats to congregate on 26/11 anniversary

To mark the first anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai attacks, young diplomats from India, Russia, Malaysia, Egypt, New Zealand, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Indonesia will pay tribute to the martyrs tomorrow here who laid their lives to save the innocent civilians on the disgraceful day.

Hundreds of candles, representing love, emotion and respect of young diplomats representing 119 countries will mark the defeat of terrorism.

The diplomats will also come forward to find answers to issues concerning world peace through the conference 'Indian Model United Nations 2009' organised by the Ryan Foundation and to be held till November 28 here.

Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor will be the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony on November 28.
