BJP blames Amar Singh for the scuffle in Rajya Sabha New Delhi | Tuesday, Nov 24 2009 IST
The BJP today blamed Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh for the scuffle in Rajya Sabha upon tabling of the report of the Justice M S Liberhan Commission and Action Taken Report in the House by Home Minister P Chidambaram at noon today. BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said Mr Singh had rushed towards the BJP members after they raised the slogan 'Jai Sriram' as the Home Minister tabled the report and the ATR. "It was a perfectly legitimate slogan and there was no reason for the SP leader to rush to the BJP benches. We condemn this," Mr Javadekar said. -- (UNI) -- 24DI16.xml
