Rajnath demands probe into Switzerland trips of Cong, RJD leaders
Jamshedpur | Saturday, Nov 21 2009 IST

BJP president Rajnath Singh today demanded an inquiry into the details of all those Ministers and leaders of the Congress and RJD who had gone to Switzerland ''to deposit crores of rupees looted by former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda in the Swiss bank.'' Addressing an election rally here in support of former Jamshedpur (West) MLA and party candidate for the state Assembly elections Saryu Rai, he said, ''The Centre should probe that which all Ministers, and leaders of the Congress and RJD had gone to Switzerland and for how many times to deposit the looted money.'' ''We will not allow this scam to be covered up by the Congress, which toppled the BJP-supported Munda regime and formed the Independent Koda-led government as it was eying the state's exchequer," he alleged.

"If our party forms government in the state, we will send all the corrupt leaders behind the bars," Mr Singh said.

Lambasting AICC president Sonia Gandhi, the BJP leader said she was making mockery of her party by claiming that her party will form a stable government in the state as it was the Congress which did not let a stable government rule in the state.

Stating that the Congress did not have even a single face who could ask for vote in the Assembly elections, he said, ''In last Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won 9 of the 14 seats in the state. This should clear that which party can give a stable government.''
