In the keenly contested semi-final, which lasted 58 minutes, Uttar Pradesh spikers defeated Haryana 25-21, 25-21, 25-21. Uttar Pradesh would clash for title tomorrow with the winners of match between hosts Karnataka and defending champion Tamil Nadu scheduled for late night. In Girls section, West Bengal stormed into finals defeating Uttar Pradesh 3-0. It took one hour for the Bengal girls to oust Uttar Pradesh 25-16, 25-13, 25-12.
