Domestic help nabbed for robbing employer

Police have arrested a domestic help and his three associates for allegedly robbing his employer of nearly Rs four lakh.

''Police have arrested domestic help Mahesh (27) and his accomplices Manoj (22), Bhagirath (36) and Rajender (36) from Majnu Ka Tila Area,'' Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal said.

The arrested kept his employer Suman Ratra of Vasant Kunj at knifepoint and robbed her house on November 19, he added. Police have recovered all the robbed articles including Rs 3,63,500 in cash, bronze idols of Lord Krishna and Radha, Ladoo Gopal and Shali Gram, a gold tulsi chain, a Sony Handycam and looted credit cards on their instance, Mr Dhaliwal said.

Further investigation was in progress.
