V N Tripathi appointed GM of Eastern Railway

Mr V N Tripathi today took charge as the General Manager of the Eastern Railways.

Prior to this posting, Mr Tripathi joined the Indian Railway Traffic Service in 1974 and was the General Manager of Metro Railway, Kolkata.

He also held the post of GM of Southern Railway including other important portfolios.
