India Handwriting expert deposes Fahim drew Mumbai maps
Dr Kranti Kumar, handwriting expert of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Lucknow today deposed before designated court conducting trial in the 26/11 terror attack case that the author of specimen and writing on maps and documents seized by the investigating agencies is the same. Dr Kumar said he had used the latest technology to examine the handwriting on the maps of Mumbai seized from the militants who attacked the city, allegedly prepared by accused Fahim Ansari, and his specimen. He has also submitted the reports to the investigating agency with reasoning, he told justice Judge M L Tahaliyani. Ansari had allegedly drawn maps of city and supplied to the terrorist handlers in Pakistan, which was later used by the attackers. The court has already recorded the statements of handwriting expert from FSL, Kalina, here. Another witness -- Police Naik Chandrakant Bhaskarao testified that he had taken specimen hand writing of Ansari on 32 pages, while he was in police custody here, in presence of Uttar Pradesh Police Inspector Omprakash Tripati on January three, this year. J J Hospital Mortuary Assistant Harshad Sudhakar told the court that bodies of eight terrorist were brought to mortuary on November 29, last year and later one body was brought on December six.
