Fire destroys paper godown in city

Fire today destroyed a godown stacked with paper and other inflammable materials at Cossipore in northern fringe of this metro.

Fire brigade official Dipak Ghosh said about ten fire tenders were pressed into the service who worked for over two hours to douse the flames.

There was no casualty in the fire, Mr Ghosh said adding that an investigated was on to determine the causes.
