India Disney comes up with workbooks for kids
Disney Publishing Worldwide (India) has launched two new range of Workbooks to enspire and encourage early childhood learning in a fun and engaging way. The books, Smart Beginnings for the pre-schoolers in the two-four years age group and School Skills for kids aged five-seven years would feature Disney's popular characters Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Disney Princess and Disney Fairies. Starting this month, Disney will release 10 new titles of ''Smart Beginnings'' and ''School Skills'' workbooks every quarter. ''Smart Beginnings'' features locally inspired content and themes which resonates with local kids. ''School Skills'', aimed at older children, features Disney's favourite stories and characters. The Workbooks will be available across all leading book stores and retail points across India. Disney consumer Products (INDIA) Regional Director Roshini Bakshi said in a release here that the two workbooks were products that parents will trust and kids will love. ''The books inspire kids to read and learn by presenting content in a relevant, compelling and enjoyable format for our young readers,'' she added. Together both ranges will cover themes that form an integral part of a young child's world. ''Smart Beginnings'' titles for this quarter include Numbers, Shapes, Letters, Patterns and Colours. ''School Skills'' titles to be launched this quarter will include evolved Maths and English concepts such as Uppercase, Lowercase words, Vocabulary, Addition and Subtraction. -- (UNI) -- 20BY1.xml
