Jyoti Randhawa inagurates All Indian Police golf

The 13th All India Police Golf Tournament was inaugurated by renowned Golfer Jyoti Randhawa at Madhuban Meadows, Haryana Police Complex, Madhuban, near here, today.

Speaking on this occasion Mr Ranjiv Dalal, Director General of Police, Haryana said that it was a great honour for Indian Police that a Golf Tournament of this stature was being organized for the first time on a Golf Course fully owned by the Police.

The beautiful 18-hole Golf Course Madhuban Meadows was designed according to International standards and was being maintained with utmost care by Haryana Police.

He said that in this tournament 17 teams from 9 States, 7 Central Police Organizations and 1 Union Territory were participating. Among the participants there were around 80 police officers including 6 DGs, 7 Add. DGs, 21 IGs and 15 DIGs.

Appreciating the efforts of Haryana Police in popularising the game of Golf, Randhawa stated that he has been totally captivated by the stimulating environment of Madhuban. He has already visited Madhuban twice to address the trainees of the Haryana Police Academy.
