India Maharastra cabinet congratulates Sachin Tendulkar
The Maharashtra cabinet today passed a resolution, congratulating batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar for completing 17,000 runs in ODI and also for representing the country in cricket for the last 20 years. The resolution, which was tabled by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan himself, said by playing for 20 years, Tendulkar has made Maharashtra and India proud. The resolution further said that Sachin has given immense pleasure to the people of this country by his game. ''The son of Maharashtra has achieved a greatest place in world cricket'', it added.
