Headley's mobile traced by Mumbai police
Mumbai | Thursday, Nov 19 2009 IST

In a major breakthrough, crime branch sleuths of Mumbai police have recovered a mobile phone, said to have been used by Lashkar-e-Toiba operative David Headley during his visits to the Metropolis between 2006 and 2008.

After a scrutiny of the phone records, it came to light that Headley had been touch with some Escorts providers in the Metropolis and was also in touch with Call girls, who used to accompany him on his visits.

Sources said Headley was fond of such girls and exploited them to the hilt in pursuit of his nefarious designs. A detailed scrutiny of the phone records was being carried out.

Meanwhile, some Bollywood stars are said to be under the scanner for their link with Headley. Investigators who questioned Rahul Bhatt, a training instructor at the Moksh gymnasium and son of eminent film director Mahesh Bhatt, revealed that these stars had been in touch with Headley. Rahul had introduced them to Headley, sources claimed.

These stars met Headley at the gymnasium at Breach Candy, where he used to come for work outs. They will be shortly questioned by a team of National Investigation Agency, the sources added.
