20 women held for obscene dance

City Police arrested as many as 35 people, including 20 women, who were allegedly involved in an obscene dance at a hotel in the city last night.

According to official sources here today, a team of police personnel raided a hotel which was running live band illegally and made the arrests.

Those arrested included the owner,manager and other staff of the hotel. Police produced them before the magistrate who remanded them in judicial custody, the sources added.
