India Barclays looking at football sponsorship in India
After signing sponsorship of English Premier Football League (EPFL), Barclays, will explore to replicate it in India, a top official of the Bank said today. ''Only last week, we had renewed the relationship with EPFL. We will be evaluating Soccer in India,''said Ram Gopal, Interim Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer(India). ''Soccer (Football in India) is growing and we will certainly look at the sport for possible sponsorship,'' he said during media interaction at the opening of the first branch of Barclays Global Retail Banking here. -- (UNI) -- 18SPM24.xml
