Model N Tech Plans $ 13 mn investment
Hyderabad | Wednesday, Nov 18 2009 IST

Model N Technology India, the Hyderabad based wholly-owned subsidiary of Model N Inc, the Redwood Shores-headquartered leader in Revenue Management, plans to invest 13 million US Dollar to ramp up its Indian operations over the next two years.

The company, which currently had 90 members in its staff here, will also ramp up the headcount to 200 over the next two years at Hyderabad, the nodal office of its Asian operations.

Model N is extending its software development partnership with Sierra Atlantic to bring industry-leading Revenue Management Solutions to the Indian market.

Model N India is a vital component of Model N expansion strategy of placing fully functional operational hubs in each geography to cover sales, marketing, product development, solution delivery and customer operations, along with an infrastructure to support a rapidly growing organisation, Company CEO Zack Rinab, a Silicon Valley veteran, said about its Indian Operations here today.

The Company will invest five million USD in 2009-2010 and another eight million USD in 2010-2011 to upgrade its operations and headcount in India.

The company has been growing at an average 50 per cent over the last five years and posted 42 per cent YoY growth last year amid recession and global financial crisis.
