5 killed in road accident in K'taka

Five people, including two women and a child, were killed and another three seriously injured when an iron-ore ladden truck hit a passenger vehicle near Ankola town in Uttara Kannada District this morning. Police sources said the victims were from Mangalore. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, the sources added. -- (UNI) -- 18MS1.xml
