India Three LeT, HUJI militants arrested from Esplanade area
Three suspected Lashker-e-Toiba(LeT) and Harkat-Ul-Jihadi Islami (HUJI) militants were today arrested by a Special Task Force (TSF) of Kolkata police from the city's Esplanade area with a huge amount of fake Indian currencies. Special Additional Commissioner of Police Rajiv Kumar said the three persons were carrying fake currencies of Rs 40,000. Following a tip-off, police arrested them from the long distance bus terminus as the trio was trying to make an attempt to board a North Bengal-bound bus. '' We are interrogating them and the details will be known after the interrogation is over, '' Mr Kumar said. Police said the arrested were believed to be members of LeT and Huji.
