Bellary DC reinstated

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa rolled back the transfers of senior officials from Bellary District ''bowing to pressure'' from the Reddy Brothers who had raised the banner of revolt against the State Leadership.

Mr B Shivappa, who had been shifted out of Bellary District in the aftermath of the rebellion within the State BJP, was re-instated as Bellary District Deputy Commissioner vice Mr Harsh Gupta who was transfered as Shimoga District Deputy Commissioner.

In an official notification issued here today, the State Government also transferred Gadag District Deputy Commissioner N V Prasad who had invited the wrath of the Chief Minister for allegedly neglecting rehabilitation of flood victims.

The government also reinstated Bellary District Superintendent of Police Simanth Kumar Singh and transferred DC Rajappa to Shimoga District. Shimoga DC Manoj Kumar Pandey was shifted to Bidar while Gadag DC C Shikha was named as the CEO of Dharwad ZP.

Chief Minister earlier transferred his Principal Secretary V P Baligar and also dropped Panchayath Raj Minister Shobha Karandlage from the Cabinet as a part of the compromise formula worked out by the Central Leadership.

rolle back Bidar DC Mr.Harsh Gupta to Bidar as he has taken ton of development works in bidar and whole dist he is a role model for Bidar yong generation so please rolle back him to Bidar not to shivamogga
