PM to lay foundation for electrical unit: CM Tirupati | Monday, Nov 9 2009 IST
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 6000-crore industrial unit being set up as a joint venture by two major PSUs, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Roasiah said today. Talking to mediapersons here after chairing a review meeting with district officials and ministers on drought situation, he said the industrial unit under the JV would be set up by PSU majors Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and the National Thermal Power Corporation at Mannavaram between Tirupati and Srikalahasti in Chittoor district soon. -- (UNI) -- 08MS40.xml
