India-US-Israel combine will be deadly to Islamic terorists
Chennai | Sunday, Nov 8 2009 IST

Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today said Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh should resign and call for fresh polls if India did not ally with US and Israel to dismember Pakistan on the issue of terrorism.

In a statement here, Dr Swamy said the recent revelations by the FBI about the LeT and Al-Qaeda plans to carry out more horrific terrorist attacks than the 26/11 Mumbai incident, should be replied to by taking the anti-terrorist war to the source.

''Pakistan, even if we take their denial at face value of not sponsoring terror, is a cess pool in which terrorists breed,'' he added. ' He said instead of demanding Pakistan to take effective steps against LeT and Al-Qaeda, India should ally with the US and Israel, despatch 100,000 troops to Afghanistan to assist NATO forces and be positioned to dismember Pakistan when Taliban inevitably takes over control of Pakistan and its nuclear weapons.

Stating that India has the skilled military manpower, US the weapons and Israel the counter-terror intelligence infrastructure, Dr Swamy said an India-US-Israel combine would a be deadly force for the Islamic terrorists.

''If Prime Minister Manmohan Singh does not have the nerve to do this, he should resign and call for the elections as a defacto referendum on how to deter terrorists,'' he said, adding, Indians could not sit around like chickens in a hatchery waiting to be sent to the tandoori.
