India Man cheated of more than Rs 18 lakh in Navi Mumbai
A man was allegedly cheated to the tune of more than Rs 18 lakh by three people under the pretext of providing him job in Singapore or Dubai in the satellite city of Navi Mumbai. According to the complainant Kaushalkumar Bansiprasad, the accused -- Premkumar Kushwal (24), Sayyed alias Mohammed Sharif (45) and Sajid Jaffar (27)-had allegedly cheated him to the tune of more than Rs 18 lakh from October 15, last month, till yesterday under the pretext of providing him job in Singapore or Dubai. The complainant stated that when he went to ask them about the job placement yesterday, the accused did not give him a satisfactory reply and threatened him. Thereafter, Bansiprasad lodged a complaint at MIDC Police station in Navimumbai, police said, adding that the accused were absconding and further investigation was on. -- (UNI) -- 08BY2.xml
