While tasking the Confederation of Indian Industry with the onerous responsibilty, the international NGO also handed over leadership of the India Business Alliance (IBA) to CII, which was one of the co-founders of the Alliance, CII said in a statement here today. IBA chief Shaloo Puri said CII with its extensive network is ideally positioned to enhance the business sector response to TB, and make a difference to the lives of people, businesses and the national economy.
