India There is no change in our stand:
Karnataka tourism minister G Janardhan Reddy, spearheading the campaign for the ouster of Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, today emphatically said no compromise formula had been arrived at so far. He told newspersons before leaving for Bengaluru for consultations with his brother and Revenue Minister G Karunakar Reddy, he said ''there is no change in our stand (on leadership change).'' Mr Reddy, who had consultations with supporting MLAs, including seven Ministers, at a star hotel in the Hitech city all night, said they expected the party High Command to take a considered decision. Insisting on leadership change, the rebels camping here wanted Karnataka Assembly Speaker Jagdish Shettar to succeed Mr Yeddyurappa, according to sources in the dissident camp. Conceding the demand of the dissidents, Mr Yeddyurappa had transferred his Principal Secretary V P Baligar.
