India BJP hopeful of early resolution to political crisis in Karnataka
Even as the rebel group led Karnataka Tourism Minister Galli G Janardhan Reddy continued to press for ouster of Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, Bharatiya Janata Party official Spokesman Prakash Javadekar expressed confidence that the crisis would blow over in two days. ''The party central leadership is seized of the developments in Karnataka. An amicable settlement is being worked out'', he told reporters here. Both the groups had made a detailed presentation of the view points to the party high command which was in the process of evolving a solution agreeable to both the sides, he added. He claimed that none of the 52 rebel BJP MLAs from Karnataka camping here had not not put in their papers. Party sources said some of the rebel Karnataka BJP MLAs staying in a hotel in the hitech city here had submitted their resignations to the Assembly Speaker to press their demand. -- (UNI) -- 06DR106.xml
