Bowlers put Bengal back on track
Kolkata | Friday, Nov 6 2009 IST

Bowlers brought back Bengal on the doors of victory by reducing Hydrabad at 158 for 8 on the third day of the Col C K Nayudu(under-22) meet here today. Home team still leading by 80 runs have a great opportunity of walking away with full points provided they knock off the last two Hydrabadi wickets early on the final day tomorrow. Resuming at an overnight score of 299 for 7, the home team added another 81 runs to their tally and took an overall lead of 238 runs.

Afrafudin and Mondal ran through the visitors innings pocketing four and three wickets respectively. Hyderabad looked hapless against some venomous bowling. Habib Ahmed and Lalit Mohan were the ony batsmen, who exhibited semblance of fight scoring 33 and 31 runs respectively.
