DQE, Metropolis Television Inc sign pact

DQE, a animation, gaming and entertainment production and distribution group, today announced the signing of a Free Television Distribution License Agreement with Metropolis Television INC for the 26x 26' animated television series "Iron Man." The agreement has been signed for a period of three years, starting from August 2010 with the right to broadcast in ASEAN countries. In a statement, DQE Group Chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, ''We are happy to bring the Marvel superhero to a larger audience base in ASEAN countries through the free TV platform, even as the pay TV rights continue to be held by Turner Entertainment network for entire South East Asia.
