GoAir derosters pilot Mumbai | Friday, Nov 6 2009 IST
Low cost airline GoAir has derostered the pilot after its flight G8 105, carrying 154 passengers, circled runway 27 twice on November 3 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji airport here. The decision to go around by the pilot was a proactive and a conscious decision taken to be on a safer side in order to avoid any accident due to the some repair work going on at the beginning of the runway, a Goair release said here today. GoAirs safety department was investigating the incident and a report is expected soon. In order to expedite the investigation process by the pilots continued availability, the pilot has been derostered, the release added. -- (UNI) -- 06BY6.xml
