India Parampara 2009 begins in city from Nov 13
'Natya Tarangini' Raja Radha Reddy Institute of Kuchipudi Dance would organise the three-day Parampara 2009 'Andhri' - National Festival of Music and Dance from November 13 at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium in the city. This year the festival is dedicated to former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, whose sudden demise has left the state deeply saddened. The Chief Minister K Rosaiah is expected to inaugurate the festival. The festival, which was started as a movement to preserve and enrich the cultural mosaic in 1976, will open with Kuchipudi dance by the world renowned Gurus Padma Bhushans Raja and Radha Reddy along with daughters Yamini and Bhavana and disciples on November 13. Hindustani Vocalist Ashwini Bhide will also perform on the same day, a release said here today. Dancing Duo Nirupama and Rajendra will perform Kathak Dance and Padma Bhushan TN Seshagopalan Carnatic Vocal on November 14. On November 15, Dr Neena Prasad will perform Mohiniattam Dance.
