Sudha Murhty sells her shares in Infosys

IT major Infosys Technologies Chairman's wife Sudha Murthy today sold her two million shares worth Rs 4.30 billion for setting up a venture capital fund.

Narayana Murthy, sold 2 million shares about 22 percent of her total holding, on the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said in a filing. Last month, Narayana Murthy had sold 800,000 shares worth USD 37 million, to set up a venture capital fund.

The company said the Murthys confirmed that they had no plan to raise further capital for the fund.
