India Case against Price Waterhouse on, says ICAI
The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) today clarified that proceedings were still continuing against Price Waterhouse and denied having withdrawn the case as reported in a section of the press. In a statement here, ICAI said the hearing was held on November 3 last on the writ petition filed before the Delhi High Court. The court had observed that once the Director Discipline had decided the matter, fresh notice would be issued to Price Waterhouse, New Delhi. Consequent to this, ICAI would proceed in accordance with the Chartered Accountants Act and Rules framed, the release added.
