Heavy downpour likely in TN, coastal Andhra Pradesh

Heavy to very heavy rains may lash many places in Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Rayalseema, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, few places in south interior Karnataka and isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. The northeast monsoon has been vigorous in Tamil Nadu and subdued in Telangana and coastal Karnataka.

Night temperature was below normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Pradesh, north Gujarat state, south Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and coastal Karnataka. It was above normal in some parts Uttarakhand, south Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, north Gujarat state and Telangana. Extremely heavy downpour lashed most places in Tamil Nadu. Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Rayalseema, Kerala, few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and isolated places in south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
