AEGON Religare launches iTerm Plan

Aegon Religare Life Insurance (ARLI) today announced the launch of 'AEGON Religare iTerm Plan'.

Announcing the launch, Company CEO Rajiv Jamkhedkar told newsmen here the new plan was available online and offered customers an "unmatched combination of value and convenience." Mr Jamkhedkar claimed "it is the cheapest term plan in the country and exclusively available on online." The AEGON Religare iTerm Plan is a pure protection insurance plan wherein a customer is required to pay yearly premium. The entry age is minimum 18 and maximum 60 with minimum policy term of five and a maximum of 25 years.

He said, ''India has a total internet base of over 60 million with a recorded e-commerce tansaction amounting to Rs 1,800 crore in 2008 and there is tremendous opportunity for such an insurance product in the market.''
