New Delhi | Thursday, Nov 5 2009 IST

With a view to further enhancing customer ownership experience, premium car manufacturer Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) today announced the launch of its insurance programme 'Honda Assure'.

Under the programme all Honda customers will get the benefit of a more transparent, hassle-free and quick turnaround time on their insurance claims, a company statement said.

The entire transaction will be routed through an on-line central server which will enable HSCI to monitor the overall operations more effectively, it said adding that the customers will be able to avail cashless insurance across India.

''We are pleased to announce the launch of the 'Honda Assure' programme for our customers in India. This programme is in line with our commitment to the customers towards enhancing ownership experience of their Honda cars,'' HSCI President M Takedagawa said. A pilot project of Honda Assure has been operational in Delhi and NCR region for the past one month and the company has generated more than 1,500 policies during this period, he added.

The business partners for this programme include leading insurance companies in India such as National General Insurance Company, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company, Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company, Iffco Tokyo General Insurance Company and Universal Sompo General Insurance Company (Regional Partner-West).
