India Restrictions on ODI spectators
Water bottles, food and ''anything which can used as missile will be barred from the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Uppal where India takes on Australia in the crucial fifth cricket ODI match tomorrow. Even as it spread a blanket of security cover, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner today requested the public not to carry any hand bags, food items, cameras or any audio-video equipment, waterbottles, Match boxes, Lighters and ''anything which can be used as missile.'' He said tresspassers would be arrested and punished as per law. Spectators should subject themselves to security check in their own interest and not try to cross over to other pavilions for which they have no valid tickets.'' Traffic restrictions around the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal would be enforced ahead of the ODI slated between 1430 hrs and 2230 hrs, a release said. -- (UNI) -- 04SPM29.xml
